Prop 65
Proposition 65 (Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986)
California’s Proposition 65 requires businesses to warn consumers when products may expose them to chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. These warnings help Californians make informed decisions about potential exposures.
Some organizations are exempt, including small businesses with fewer than 10 employees, government agencies, and public water systems.
Although our company has fewer than 10 employees and is therefore exempt from these requirements, we take customer safety seriously. Whenever a product manufacturer informs us that a listed chemical was used in production, we share that warning with you.
